My New Years Resolutions!

on January 10, 2013

Hello! My, it has been a while, hasn’t it? The last time we posted was a whole year ago! ( 😛 ) And that’s odd, because it does not seem like a whole year since we had last blogged. But I suppose time flies when one is having fun.

Well, today I am going to talk about my New Years Resolutions. Here’s a list:

1. Not to growl at my sissies, even if they wanna hog my bone.

2. Share my green pillow, food, and bones with the family.

3. Try to go at least a month without growling.

4. Think before I bark.

5. Remember to stay in the gate.

6. Don’t run off.

7. Don’t chase after squirrels, even if Koda does.

8. Keep up with my blog, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.

9. Try not to lick the furniture.

10. Keep my ears out of my food.

11. Keep our wardrobe organized.

12. Make frequent appointments with the groomer.

13. Make an attempt to be nice to the cat.

14. Make lots of friends.

15. Try not to be so tired in the morning.

16. Banish my fear of thunder storms.

17. Get more treats than last year.

18. Don’t go potty on the porch or in the house.

19. Get lots of exercise.

20. Try not to eat everything I see on the floor.

21. Learn Pie to 10,000 pieces.

22. Stay nice and lean and don’t get lice and don’t be mean. (I’m a poet, and I don’t even know it ! ;P)

23. Don’t get bothered by flea medicine.

24. Make all vet worries disappear.

25. Stay away from anything on the DON’T FEED THE DOGS list. (unless it tastes yummy)

26. Get through ‘War and Peace’.

27. Don’t hog the crate.

28. Stay nice and healthy.

29. Finish my sweater I started knitting 3 years ago.

And, 30. Pray everyday.

So there it is! My New Years Resolutions. I will try to stick with them, but I probably won’t even do half of them. But we will see!

Happy New Year! Let’s hope the groundhog does whatever it takes to make Spring come early. I’m tired of wet white goop when I go outside… ;P
