Perfect Papillons

Petite Pooches Posting Periodically

We have a guest in the house!! :P

Hi!

Well, this may come as a bit of a shock, but a couple days ago, Wednesday evening, to be precise, We heard a knock on the door, and as usual, we came to see who it was. ;P And it was a lady, she was carrying a crate (not unlike ours) and in her other arm, she was carrying, well-well, she was carrying, she was carrying, in our house she wasΒ carrying,Β a littleΒ DOG!!!!!Β I do not recall ever having another dog in our house before…What a surprise!!! I was very excited to meet him. πŸ™‚ Unfortunately, he was very nervous at first…I cannot imagineΒ why. 😦 Well, as it turned out, the little dog was named Buttons, he was a small Yorkshire Terrier (smaller than me and Ce-Ce! But around our age..:) ) and he was coming to stay for a couple days while his humans were on a vacation. πŸ™‚ So in other words, our humans were dog-sitting him. Ce-Ce is not very happy about this….She feels that she is not getting as much needed attention as she should. πŸ˜› Ce-Ce gets attached to people, and she likes a lot of attention, so sometimes she growls at Buttons and sometimes Buttons growls at us. ButΒ besides that,Β we all get along very swell. πŸ™‚

Fun Fact: Β I like Buttons’s food better than mine, and Buttons likes our food better than his, so we switched (not completely with our humans’ permission) at dinner. ;P

Well, we may post more about Buttons later. πŸ™‚ Because he is still here, as I dictate this. Yay! πŸ˜€ So, you may hear more on him, and you may not. But either way, have a nice weekend!! πŸ™‚

Memorial Day weekend, and the humans’ yard sale.

Well, hello. πŸ™‚ I know that it has been a while since Memorial Day, but we have been very busy lately, and we haven’t gotten to posting about it, but now we are. πŸ™‚ So continue reading….

Well, you may or may not know, but a couple weeks ago, (on Memorial Day weekend) our humans had a yard sale! And me and Libby got to sit outside with them and meet a lot of people! πŸ™‚ It was very fun. But we got tired after a while (and rather hot too) because of all the sun. We weren’t out there the whole time though…because our humans would let us in the house for a while and then let us back out for a while. It was quite enjoyable! We got lots of compliments. πŸ˜€ Β And even better yet, the next day was also fun! Because it was…….Memorial Day!!! πŸ˜€ (Libby’s second favorite holiday).

And on the late morning of Memorial Day, our humans said: “You need to be more patriotic looking.” So they thought of the wonderful idea of getting cloth, and cutting them into little Papillon size bandannas! It was very weird, because they also fit our big sister Koda, and she is a little over double our size! πŸ˜› But anyway, they weren’t even that uncomfortable! I got a starry blue pattern, and Liberty got a calico red pattern! They looked simply adorable on us. πŸ™‚ But Koda didn’t have one on that day though, because our humans had not yet found out that she could wear them as well. πŸ˜› Silly humans! We have a couple simply adorable pictures for you to adore. πŸ˜‰ Well, better be going! My stomach is telling me that it is time for a snack…:P

This is us helping out with the yard sale!! πŸ™‚ Notice the plate of cookies and the cooler of lemonade? (The humans had a bake sale going at the same time…:P)

Aren’t we so precious in our Memorial Day bandannas?! πŸ˜€
